I’m a passionate urban permaculture gardener, photographer, presenter and content creator at @connieandluna. I focus on creating engaging and educational content about:

• Edible gardening: especially Asian veggies, berries and small space fruit.

• Cut flower growing: flowers are so important for the garden, both as food for the soul and food for our little insect friends.

• Permaculture living: composting, chicken-keeping, preserving & garden diy

I’m also the author of Your Asian Veggie Patch, a comprehensive (yet beginner-friendly) guide to growing and cooking delicious Asian veggies, herbs & fruits. Published by Murdoch Books (2024), available worldwide. In my (biased) opinion, it’s the book for knowing and growing Asian food and covers everything from kang kong and snake beans, to jujubes and shiso.

I love sharing my passion for permaculture and horticulture, and welcome opportunities to share the joys of gardening on new platforms, whether that be through tv, radio, writing or podcasts.

I currently write for ABC Organic Gardener Magazine, am the resident garden columnist at The Design Files, and a regular guest on ABC Radio Melbourne.
