And how beautiful it was. The place reminds me a bit of Abbotsford Convent in Melbourne, in terms of how it's repurposed an old building and turned the area into an entire destination to visit. Before dropping by, I was thoroughly familiar with the wholesome menu it had on offer but nobody told me it was actually on a massive piece of land fully kitted out with a florist, market stalls, outdoor area and a barn with a pig named Kevin Bacon and a lamb called Bradley! So here's an insight to the beauty of the Grounds of Alexandria beyond the food they serve. To Frankie, thank you for the fun chat in your office & lovely Lilya Spring.
