I spend so much time at home studying and working that sometimes after looking at the same view a little uninspiring. However, a quick rotation of prints, a spritz or two of Baies and a new set of covers is all you need to freshen things up. In terms of my home palette, I'm still slowly building it up to what I want it to be - concentrating on a clean white open space with the main pop of colour being green (I just love the calmness it brings to me and how it reminds me of nature) and lots of other contrasting prints and shades here and there. I like to keep things clean, simple but also vibrant in colour.Last week, I finally adopted my first indoor plant! I was actually shopping around for a devil's ivy however the search wasn't very successful and after visiting and calling up seven different nurseries, I decided it was time I gave up on it. As my sister and I were walking out of the last nursery, we spotted a shy row of maidenhair ferns near the cash register. Its delicate, clover like leaves seemed perfect for a peaceful little space so we decided to bring one home. So far, I've managed to still keep it alive. Also, I thought I'd give a small skincare update. Here are three things that I am obsessed with right now:1) After trying out two products from Arcona at Sephora (the exfoliate + triad pads), Arcona everything. Seriously the best facial exfoliator and toner pads I have come across. Super fine fine beads that are so gentle on the skin without compromising on the exfoliation. And that scent. That cranberry scent.2) Dior Capture Totale Eyes essential eye zone boosting super serum. I'm almost certain this little thing is doing big wonders to my eyes. Puffiness be gone!3) Estelle & Thild Biodefense antioxidant day cream. So lightweight, so beautifully scented and organic, I've been using this every day.Hope you enjoy this little out and about at home update :-)Photos: Rowena Cao and I
