Ubud is one of those places in the world I just love and would instantly return to in a heartbeat. The luscious green coconut and rice plantations surround you everywhere here, bringing you a sense of calm in an otherwise hustling and bustling island. It was with so much happiness that I booked a flight to Bali again this year to revisit this place I love so much. Our first stop in Ubud was to see our lovely friends at Padma, who have just opened a new resort in Puhu (their official grand opening is Feb 1, congrats guys!!) - a small village near Ubud central. My last stay at Padma (in beachside Legian) was spectacular so I was excited and intrigued to see what Padma Resort Ubud would have in store - and boy did I love it here. The resort is the only one in Puhu village and is situated in a secluded spot at the end of a long road. When you arrive, you feel like you're in a peaceful haven away from it all. And you are. Everything you need for ultimate relaxation is here so there really isn't a reason to leave. The staff here are so lovely and sweet, some transferred from Legian so it was so great to see familiar faces.Whether it be pool side yoga overlooking the forest, lounging by Bali's longest infinity pool, going on a guided cycling tour, making canang sari, enjoying the spa, running track or more, there are so many different activities to keep you occupied. But before I show you more of the resort, I thought I'd give you a quick room tour - a quick check-in post. Here's a peek into our stay at Padma where we stayed in the premier club room. If you've ever stayed in a similar room in Padma Resort Legian, you'll find that the rooms in Padma Resort Ubud are much more larger. The bathrooms here are massive with a freestanding bath tub / rain shower / big basin and the room itself is extremely spacious too.

A peek into the room service menu. After a long day adventuring, we decided to have dinner in. Here we ordered green duck curry, nasi goreng, spring rolls & two mocktails.

Mornings by the balcony. The only thing you can hear is the sound of nature. It's so peaceful and quiet here and is the perfect place to make yourself a green tea and look out at the surrounds. Wearing: ASOS blocked striped midi bandeau dress | Country Road colour block hat.

Heading towards our room. The floor game here is strong #ihavethisthingwithtiles. Absolutely love finding these tiles scattered around the resort. Wearing: ASOS Hailey sandals (sadly sold out but similar here) | American Tourister Cube Pop mint green luggage case - I found the 68cm Cube Pop which whilst looked small, was so roomy and perfect for fitting in everything and more.
