With winter coming our way, I wanted to transform our bedroom into a warm and cosy environment filled with rich, earthy hues. It actually gets pretty cold here in Melbourne so layering up and investing in good quality quilts to keep warm overnight is an absolute must. Some details I am loving at the moment are really vibrant warm tones such as this stunning butterscotch brown linen quilt cover from Castle & Things, paired back with pops of everyone's favourite shade of millennial pink which is mixed in the details of the beautiful co-ordinating pillowcases. With these two tones being one of my favourites right now, I wanted to extend this colour palette further into the decor - What are the chances though, that Melbourne based creatives Pop & Scott also do a pot in a similar pattern and shades? It's the perfect pot for my palm tree which I could never find the right pot for. Finally, a combination that really ties our room in together.Warm textures such as having rugs everywhere underfoot and DIY macrame wall hangings also give an extra special touch for the cooler season. Our bedroom is our absolute sanctuary so I love making sure it's both comfortable and cosy and a change of season is a great time to experiment with new palettes and decorating ideas. I hope this gives you some lovely winter bedroom inspiration :)Featured: Castle & Things quilt cover + pillow cases | Pop & Scott medium sized Wexler pot | Kuwaii Glazer sweater | Arnhem Clothing cord skirt
