Alsisar Haveli - Jaipur, India

One of things you definitely have to do when visiting India is staying in one of the many heritage hotels. We took up the chance to experience a heritage hotel stay in Jaipur at Alsisar Haveli. Alsisar Haveli used to be a vacation home back in the day for the Alsisar family, however it has now been converted into a hotel conveniently situated in the middle of Jaipur city.

The grounds of Alsisar Haveli are sooo gorgeous from every angle and feature traditional Rajput-ian architecture throughout. From the expansive riled rooftop terrace that our front door opened out onto, to the intricate details and scalloped arched doorways, Alsisar Haveli was a delight to see and capture on camera. There is a beautiful restaurant here where you can enjoy breakfast and meals throughout the day and there is also a gorgeous pool as well to lounge at.

Our room at Alsisar Haveli was spacious and well decorated, with a large four-poster bed, seating area, study table, tv and large bathroom.

The staff at Alsisar Haveli were extremely lovely and helpful. Our air carrier had our luggage arrive in the wrong city and all through it all, the Alsisar staff were so patient and resourceful in helping us figure it all out.
