Sheer White Linen Curtains: Before & After Pictures!

If you’ve ever been thinking of installing curtains, I say, DO IT!

All I’ve done since installing our curtains is marvel at how transformational a piece of fabric can do to your window.

When we first moved into our home, I looked at Tom and told him those blinds were going. The house had simple aluminium Venetian blinds installed on all the windows which just did not give the house a homely feel. They got dusty easily but most importantly, gave no privacy to the home when opened - you could just look inside and see everything. As a result, I barely opened the street & neighbour facing windows in the house for fear of people seeing inside! I congregated all my plants into rooms that had private-facing windows so I could keep those blinds open until recently, when I finally single-handedly installed sheer curtains throughout our home.

I still can’t get over how incredible they look. They’ve absolutely changed the entire house and are literally the perfect amount of sheer in that they let in so much light but you can’t see anything from the outside during the day. So now during the day, I can open the blinds freely or pull them up. At night, we’re still using our blinds and let them down behind our curtains. In the future, I’m looking to find some perfect matching block out curtains instead.
